Carl E. Dahl House at Evergreen Grove
Our Evergreen Grove site is located in Gardner, MA, and is made up of 115 acres of farm, meadows, pastures, and pristine wilderness. Residents of this location are enrolled in our Co-Occurring Enhanced Recovery Home for adult men. In addition, our livestock rescue program is located here and the residents of our program participate in traditional clinical care as well as farm activities as a part of their Individual Service Plan.
Clinical Support
At the Carl E. Dahl House at Evergreen Grove, residents have access to a dedicated team of substance use professionals in the clinical, medical, and recovery support fields. We specialize in providing long-term care for people diagnosed with Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders.
Farm Therapy
A crucial component of successful recovery is discovering your purpose. Our residents take part in our livestock rescue and other farm programs, where they learn how caring for someone or something else can improve their own lives simultaneously. Fresh air, physical effort, healthy diets, and connection to a healthy community of peers can jumpstart a lifetime of contented recovery.
Step Outside
Unlike other treatment programs, you won't find corporate reception areas or bland "treatment" rooms that look ready to host Board meetings at the Carl E. Dahl House. Our groups and sessions take place in barns, pastures, on nature walks, or in the comfort of our big, beautiful farmhouse.
